Texas Small Business Owner Plans Layoffs to Avoid Obamacare ...

Nichols

With President Obama winning re-election, Obamacare will definitely begin taking effect in the next few years.

On Fox and Friends this morning, Steve Doocy talked to a woman who owns Papa John?s pizza franchises in the Houston area. Judy Nichols explained that she will have to cut her staff to under 50 in total to avoid having to pay health care costs under Obamacare.

Nichols said if she carries 50 or more employees, she would have to pay $2,000 per employee for their health insurance.

?We can?t afford that, it?s just pizza,? Nichols said.

She also believes that restaurants everywhere are going to suffer due to the added costs that are coming and had a message for people who have chosen to boycott companies that are speaking out against Obamacare.

?If you?re going to boycott every restaurant company that says the health care has an impact on the bottom line, be prepared to cook at home a lot. Because it?s affecting every restaurant. Every restaurant that you eat at is impacted negatively by this law,? she said.
